Roy D. Jones, PE (Retired)
American Testing Lab, LLC was started by Christine Stebbins in 2005. Christine grew up in Minnesota in a family owned construction and ready-mix (concrete) business where she worked side by side with her father and mother running heavy equipment, driving trucks, batching concrete, plowing snow in the winter time as well as assisting with all the accounting work in the office. After moving to Louisiana in 1993 Christine went to work for a nationwide engineering and testing firm where she worked her way up from a field and laboratory technician to the role of project manager during her over eleven year career with said firm. In 2005 Christine decided to take everything she had learned through the family business' and her construction testing experience and start ATL. Thru the years ATL has grew and added geotechnical engineering services when she joined in partnership with Roy Jones, PE (retired) in 2014. The addition of the engineering services allowed ATL to grow and retain new clients. However, with the retirement of Mr. Roy Jones in late 2019 and our inability to locate a Professional Engineer of Mr. Jones' overwhelming experience and qualifications, ATL again returned to construction materials testing only.
Due to the retirement of Mr. Roy Jones, PE retired, ATL decided to go back to "their roots" in only providing construction materials testing and services only. Christine has dedicated her efforts fully back to the construction materials testing only. Mr. Roy Jones is still involved with ATL in a mentoring position, but has officially retired is engineering stamp. Most importantly the employees of ATL have taken care of our clients and the projects and will continue to take care of the clients in the same manor as always.
American Testing Lab, LLC personnel hold certifications from industry and trade organizations, governmental agencies, and the State of Louisiana for construction materials testing services and procedures. American Testing Lab, LLC will be happy to provide you with an applicable list of certifications and registrations upon your request.
